ABOUT ME

Animator . 3D Generalist .

Greetings! My name is Dawameren Imchen. I am an animator from India. I spent my childhood and teenage years in Shillong, in the state of Meghalaya.​

​

Most recently, I have been occupied with computer animation for the creation of my short film, "Feeding the Cat" (2019). For this, I was involved in every aspect of the process, from start to finish.

​

I have received training in various types of animation. These include stop motion ("0200") and experimental ("Chai Break").

Objective

I am an animator and a 3D generalist who is looking forward to working with talented people on interesting projects. I am willing to move for work. Beyond my current range of skills, I am always ready to learn new things. Although it may seem redundant to say so, I am, and have always been, in love with animation and storytelling. I am also easy to work with. These qualities should make me an asset to any team.

Skills

  • Proficient in Autodesk Maya: Modelling, Texturing, Rigging, Animation, and Rendering.

  • Experience with Adobe Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere Pro, Audition, and Encoder.

  • Drawing, Painting, Visualisation, Character Design, Storyboarding.

  • Animation in various media, including Stop Motion, Sand Animation, and CG.
